FIFA 19 could add celebrations of Fortnite

The close relationship between some soccer players and Fortnite could have an unexpected repercussion. The phenomenon of celebrations with Fortnite dances on the pitch could also reach FIFA 19


Eurogamer reports that an interview with FIFA's creative director, Matt Prior, has declared that in search of the highest possible fidelity to reality, if a player makes this type of movement, "then it is something that we would potentially seek to emulate". Prior emphasizes that if this content reaches the game it will do so to make FIFA 19 as realistic as possible, not because of the Battle Royale craze.


This idea could run into a potential problem on the intellectual property of the dances, whose rights could come to claim Epic Games.
