FastDL vs WorkshopDL

You burn,FastDL is much better than WorkshopDL - it's any coder and the Creator of the server will confirm.

Both is a good option so you have backups and you can add that extra support layer just in case one goes down

FastDL is :poop:. There is no reason to still use it over workshop.

Definitely don't use fastdl. It takes forever to download, unlike workshopdl.

FastDL - this is comfortable DL.So, it's only my opinion.

WorkshopDL is 100x better than FastDL, no reason to use FastDL anymore...

FastDLs are typically slower than workshop dls. However if you have a really good webhost then it won't be an issue. But remember that your webhost is out of one location while the steam servers are at a lot. So it is more diverse for other players.

FastDL has a MB limit (can't recall what it is) but once you reach that certain amount downloads will stop for the player. WorkshopDL for the win.

For larger and more premier servers, definitely FastDL would be your best option, you only need to rely on your own server capabilities then. BUT for smaller server just getting going, there's no need to spend the time dealing with the hassle that is FastDL, keep it simple with workshop.
