Growing up my favorite texture pack was always faithful 64x64, give it a try! I think they have a faithful 256x version as well!

My favorite texture pack is my personaly created txtr pack

just default would be great after trying so many texture packs.

I like Patrix as well but it is very resource intensive but it is great if your pc is nice

I love Sphax in combination with SEUS Renewed, just looks amazing imo

Faithul is really decent and basic one, and it's good imo

I like Vanillaccurate, it keeps the feel of Minecraft while adding crazy amounts of detail beyond the basic pixels
