Favourite all time anime?

Hunter x Hunter for me, no competition. It was one of my first anime and I loved every moment of it.

One piece the best anime everrr

If movies are fair game then my favorite is easily Shinkai's Garden of Words. Perfect. Well, pretty close. For a 43 minute short film, it sure leaves you feeling like you've been through a hell of a lot that movies twice that long can't. Also the animation, the natural, at times muted soundtrack are just beautiful. I've watched it a handful of times and every time it's like I'm seeing it for the first time again. And that ending song, can't ever get that out of my head.

If you're just asking about series' though, I'd probably have to go with Clannad or Angel Beats. Cross Game is also up there, but I what separates those two Key titles is that they seem to get better whenever I rewatch them. The emotion still hits, sometimes even harder when you know its coming.

My fav is steins gate the plot is very interesting and characters are also endearing

I've watched a good deal of anime that I don't know which one to call my favorite. If I had to pick one, it would be Shingeki no Kyojin or Sword Art Online. Both of these anime look great and the storylines are undeniably interesting. What's funny is that I hated Sword Art Online at first - I just couldn't understand how and why was this anime so popular. But one day I gave it a chance, and I'm so glad I did. Since then, I have been watching SAO episodes on a daily basis, and even have a few light novels of this series.
As for AOT, I'm more drawn to the dark atmosphere of this anime. In addition, many well-written characters add a great deal of depth to the entire series, and each episode you watch gives you a sense of satisfaction.

Of all those I've seen, Hunter X Hunter really stuck the most. I don't think I will ever ever enjoy any other anime as much as this one.
