This is really cool. If you're testing design and not so much dynamic pages, this is much more efficient and faster than, say, setting up an Apache, WAMP, or XAMPP server. And the best part is, it has localtunnel built in so you can share whatever is being hosted on your localhost over the internet with other people to see your work, and you can update it IN REAL TIME.

Is it also possible to host websites on it. Or is it just about testing?

It's just for testing and prototyping. LT is good for showing your clients the mockups you make. It's about as much as web hostingas hosting a Minecraft server on a local machine is. In the end, if you're going to host a website then go for a shared, VPS, or dedicated host. If you're hosting dynamic code (php, mysql, etc) then forget about Fenix altogether.

This.

Saw the video, pretty cool application but disappointed that it's only for static web pages. I usually test dynamic web pages and this seems no use for me and probably for many others, sadly.

I hope this software gets improved and add the possibility to test dynamic pages also.

P.S: Thank you for the positive rep, can't PM you so I'm doing it here!

The purpose of this webserver is to rapidly test and temporarily deploy mockups for frontend web designers and developers in a lightweight solution. Unfortunately I doubt they would add dynamic code support to Fenix with this vision in mind. If anything, this is easily done with UWAMP. Just write a small script that can use a terminal to swap between www folders per different websites. On top of that, it has PHP and MySQL/PHPMyAdmin built in - and it's all portable. With LT you can get prototypes and mockups online temporarily to share in a similar fashion (albeit less automated) to Fenix.

No problem for the rep btw, you're one of the better users I see around here so why not? ^^
