Fontawesome question

How would I go about changing the fontawesome for individual forums.
I've edited them in the css already but possibly overlooked something
This is my goal:
To be able to change them for individual forums.

I think there's a plugin for this somewhere. I can find it when I am home though.

The plugin you're thinking of is with images, I want this done through css but cant seem to change specific forum even with the correct ids
