I do notknow how this happened, but i realised that for my whole life i have been saying suprised, and that it is instead spelled surprised. the wordsurprised just seems so unnatural. I dont really know why i am posting this. Just wanted to share this weird discovery. Tell me if you had any situations like this where you could have said that you were 100% sure in something, but it just ended up being completelywrong.

Haha, yeah it's weird Probably because most people don't pronounce the R... February's like that too..

Can't provide any personal examples though since I'm always right. Wink

Life is like a box of chocolates, it doesn't last as long for fat people.

Also to make myself look a little bit less stupid, i am not from a english speaking country. I actually think im pretty decent at English.

I know what you mean though... I didn't realize there were two different countries called The Congo until this week.

It's funny, I have had similar experiences with spelling as well. Surprised has always been easy but other words like "with" I spelled "whit" for years haha.

I do it too sometimes but I quickly correct myself, maybe because the r is silent to me so I keep forgetting that it's written as "surprised".

Me too. I would never get it right, but I was alright at spelling tests. Always tripped on words where the _ is silent.
