Fortnite Or PubG

I agree that both games are dying, personally for me I prefer fortnite. Free to play, wider audience, ability to play on consoles and cross platform, plus the entire movement and combat system feels way more fluent compared to PUBG.

IDK why this is still a thing but i would choose pubg

Can someone tell me why this war still exists?
I see so much hate from PUBG players for fortnite and I don't know why.
Epic games just created a free game mode for their upcoming game.
Yes, it is true pubg was earlier. But pubg never owned battle royale genre. They just made it more popular. Fortnite just implemented new mechanics that are fun and give players the possibility to use their creativity.
There are tons of articles that explain why fortnite outgrow pubg and it's not because of it is a game for kids.
I played both games and fortnite is a lot better for me and tbh if pubg focus I would say that it is a great game. But if my pc can't get more than 80 FPS on medium quality and i can run epic quality in overwatch, tf2 and fortnite... sorry but this is caused by developers.

1 Thing Ill say about fortnite is the higher skill cap ceiling, as the game progresses it'll become harder and harder to get into fortnite as the general player gets better, having started just in season 5, It took me over 100 hours to get to the point where im comfortable getting wins. After my experience with both games I'd have to say I enjoy fortnite a lot more but it takes time to get to the point where fortnite is fun from a competitive perspective.

Never played battle royal, so don't really care about either.
However, I saw some twitch and fortnite looked more fun for me.

Actually PUBG is a rip off of H1Z1 which is a rip off of DAYZ which is a rip off of Minecraft hunger games which is a rip off of Hunger games.

Battle royale genre is not something PUBG invented or reinvented, they simply took the genre that existed and made a game about it, then fortnite did the same thing.

Its like saying that anyone who makes a game where people shoot each other its a rip off of csgo.

Fortnite is litteraly nothing like PUBG. It is an entirely different game only being the same survivaly//battle royaley genre. It is their original idea, original game, thats way more sucesfull then PUBG has ever been or will ever be.

I am personally excited for the day that fortnite stops being that popular. It gets pretty annoying at times, but dont necesseraly understand why is there so much for a simple childrens game that is fun. I tried it out myself and it was quite good. Played PUBG as well, and was boring AF, with long matches that will end in a death and a feeling off unsatsiffaction, unlike in fortnite where games are fast paced, interesting and there is overall more and better things to do.

Fortnite is a game that is much different than PUBG, but is often compared to it. If i had to pick one, id choose the one that developers care about more, release more updates, and that is 30$ less out of your wallet(Coz its free lol).
