hmmm, doesnt work for me... account isnt upgrading to premium, maybe because of different geo locations? is there a similar method for a temporary premium account?

Another method people can use. Though it involves more time and technology know-how.
Block the ad service that spotify uses.
You won't have full premium features but the ads would be gone and that's enough for some.

Most of the apps that can block ad services are only available on root/jailbroken devices, however on android, there are some apps that can do this without the need for root.
