Which type, or style should I say of game to do you prefer?

Do you prefer free to play games where there are 'micro transactions' or do you like pay to play where you buy the game and then there's nothing to spend actual money on?

Free to play has taken over for sure, but I think the old pay to play style games are way better.

Free to play because i dont want to pay to play

It depends on how annoying the micro transactions are. Apex Legends for example takes forever to earn any new legends so honestly I'd rather just buy the game flat out. If its only cosmetic changes then I dont mind a F2P game.

until recently I only played single projects and maybe in csgo xdxd, but a year ago I came across a Genshin and I was so drawn out, and I even spend some money that I don't need to purchase some resources to make my progress easier and faster, it doesn't hit my wallet. Basically I think that you can only spend the money that you could spend anyway on a random stuff like stickers or key trinkets

Honestly depends on the game, a lot of the games I mainly play are paid, I guess what I am trying to say is if the game does not have a lot of content you should not have to pay for it. DLCs are fine
