I just read someone's thread and he literally said that it's a "waste of time" that he has to get 15 posts to unlock content.
I mean do people expect to just come here and leech? Such ignorance and annoyance.

Does anyone else feel my anger?

After having this site for more than 2.5 years, I've seen pretty much everything.
I don't feel annoyed by leechers at all anymore. You read the same stuff over and over again, ban their accounts, delete their posts and move on to the next one. It's an endless cycle.

There's not much you can besides what we do now and trying to implement new tools to prevent it. Still trying our best to fight them! Tongue

i think yes leechers are bad for forums, but making people get 15 posts to unlock content is kind of forcing people to just say something it doesn't give anything good to the forum just gives admin lot's of work deleting accounts. i think the best way in my opinion is a minimum number of posts a month but with a way to qualify the posts members can judge if it's god or not.

Maybe change 15 posts for 5 reputation points? Or something like 5 point for help others.
