Future of gaming

What do you think the future of gaming will look like?
Also, what would you like to see?

I myself think the shift towards VR is cool. Especially with 4k capabilities. FPS and GTA like games could be rather insane but could potentially cause problems, pending on its realism and how it affects our psychology as humans.

I also sense more realism in the future of video games. I think game developers might delve into augmented reality games where they insert game elements into real life. As the separation between games and reality closes, I would also see many issues as more people would fuse the two.

gaming in the cloud with virtual servers and paying from 10 to 50 bucks per month.
Nobody will have an PC, only tablets cristal clear.

Hopefully I can play with someone on the other side of the world and it'll feel like a LAN connection. That's the dream.

I would say that two games will have two directions more colorful Cartoon and Hyper realistic.
This can be seen now as the gaming industry is moving in these two directions.

Hopefully the future of gaming is like VR but more accessible, affordable, better and more mainstream.
Imagine fully immersive gaming experiences.

I'm not too sure what the future holds, but a way to incorporate more senses would be cool... smell would be impossible but maybe some sort of touch.

Vr will probably eventally die out but I think it will be roughly the same for the next 10 years until some groundbreaking innovation happens.
