Personally I prefer the future based cods as they have more creative freedom with movements, equipment and weapons and tend to have more varietybut I understand a lot of people prefer boots on the ground, what's your preference?

I can't agree with you on this one... Call of duty has always been boots on the ground, so I think it is best that is stays that way. The developers have stopped creating the futuristic games because they know they are not doing as well and are taking feedback from the community. I think the majority of call of duty players would also disagree with you

For me, the historical ones take the cake. Maybe because I started with the first ever CoD, but I find them more exciting and adrenaline pumping

It's always been about the modern/modernish games for me. I just don't have any emotional attachment to WW2, and the future based games faster movement exacerbates connection/netcode issues
