GMOD ALTERNATIVES?

They are making sbox witch is kinda a gmod 2 but I dont know when it will be done.

GTA 5, has lots of servers for rp and custom addons

arma 3, sven coop, TF2, cs servers.although there is always the lol, Aoe 2

Well if you are looking to RP, you should try GTA5 RP, if you want a military simulator, play squad.

CSS? where is CSS a sandbox game lol. Gmod is a modification from HL2 so also from CSS dafuq you are talking about

Arma 3 is a pretty good sandbox game. Minecraft, Rust.

Not really an alternative but 7 days to die is very fun

minecraft but its not the same as gmod at all... just play gmod its the OG

I advise you to go through the whole half life think a good alternative to Garry's Mod

Arma 2 is a good option. I like it more than Arma 3, because it has better mods imho and has the old dayZ vibe whilst arma 3 doesn't.
