GMOD DARKRP SERVER

How do you change the name of your GMOD SERVER? Mine currently says Garry's Mod. I do not have a password set on my server and I have not published it yet to the internet darkrp.

Go into server.cfg and type:

hostname "(your name here)"

Server.cfg where it says hostname up top change it

1. Head over to your servers contents/folders.
   
2. Navigate to the directory/garrysmod/cfg/
   
3. Open theserver.cfgfile and proceed to edit.
   
4. Typically near the top, you will see thehostname
   If not, add in a new linehostname "Garry's Mod server"
   
5. Proceed to change the name in the "" .
   
6. Once complete, save the file and restart the server.
   

Us rcon or the server.cfg! Ore use fucking google and search about it...

Look on YouTube Google and much else it helps a lot the above! To soon (yes I comment on posts at random)

is the server on your pc or in a hosting

in server.cfg there should be a line that says




just change whats in between the quotes

the server.cfg is in garrysmod/cfg/

Go into server.cfg and type:

hostname "(your name here)"

It seems to me that in your server.cfg file you can change the name
