GMOD is dying

Yea even after Gmod tower started to be a new game that was the point of breaking. That was the only thing that I was playing and after that, they made a new game seriously ... And it is 15$ ... they are crazy ... Hope someone starts a similar project and stays the Garry's mode route.

I don't think gmod has died, as the community is still alive and well. I think creativity in gmod has really died. After the success of clonewars rp servers, people decided making a ton of (insert popular tv/movie/video game franchise) RPs. I think a lot of this has to do with many good modders growing out of gmod. Its just time for people to learn how to create their own addons and gamemodes. I think it will take some time. Things like script fodder are just delaying the inevitable.

Gmod isn't dying, the popularity is just not as big as it used to be.

I must admit there arent any good servers around anymore :/

i agree it is dying but im not saying its gonna die. since of all the constant playerbase it has and all the new gamemodes that come each day.

GMOD 2 is coming soonTM, most likely around 2020. Just live your life while it's being made.
