Yes, I would definitely like it so that servers could have more players and add-ons and such it would be amazing or a complete disaster, either way, I still would think if it is like Gmod but it is able to handle more players props and add-ons that it would be really fun.

Facepunch is already developing a second Garry's Mod game, using the Unreal Engine if I remember correctly.

If there is ever some kind of update to the Half-Life series (Which there'll never be really), then I'd be so ecstatic to see Garry redo the mod for the newer game...
Although, it would take such a long time to get the game up to where it is now... They've really added a lot of content to Garry's Mod since it was originally released and it'll take a long time to move the codebase across from an older game to a newer one.... This is especially true when it comes to moddability, it's going to take a while for them to be able to build that into the new Half Life Garrys Mod as well.

I hope it's on something that's as good as the Source Engine.

Is it just me or do you think that Garry should redo gmod on a new engine keeping the same main game?

Wouldn't be worth the money and time to transition the game to a new engine. They would definitely be better off waiting for the second game and placing it in there.

They definitely need to do something with the game, its not optimized for newer PC's. You could have a 1080 and still only get 40 - 60 frames on DarkRP servers.
