Game dead?

Developers abandoned the game? Can I play? Is it interesting?

Developers have not abandoned and game is very much alive

They still do come out with many updates on PC and consoles, plus with the modpacks and textures you can get it's worth the price!

They've been working on what is probably the largest update in a long time. Check out what they've been doing to the Nether.

I tend to agree...Still very much alive, even Pewdiepie plays Minecraft on his show.

It kinda sucks having to restart the server from scratch since the new additions only show up when the game first loads the chunks (correct me if I am wrong, I would much like it not to have to reset everything to benefit from the Nether revamp!)
