totally agree with you, fable is an awesome series and I love the storylines that go with them!

The Witcher trilogy has a superb story, I strongly recommend it but you may want to skip the first game and watch/read its summary.

I'm not a gaming fanatic, but some time ago I played the witcher and I liked it a lot.

Borderlands 2 is awesome, both story-wise as gameplay-wise.

Far Cry saga, I liked very much it has a good history and good graphics.

I would recommend playing some random MMO game, they are the best.

Gothic series is very good, Assassin's Creed if you like history theme too and then you could also try Warcraft III campaign, Fable and Life is Strange
