That opening scene in "Bioshock" was amazing, wasn't it?! Absolutely one of my favourite games. If i go back even further (I am OLD), Elite: Frontier II on the Amiga blew my mind. Proper open world space opera in real 3d. Amazing!

IT WAS!! So epic, the whole storyline of the Bioshock was huge thriller for me like one rollercoaster journey. I played thewhole series for 2 weeks and completed the game in4 days but that feeling was the best of my life. Honestly, I can't experience Elite: Frontier II (at least not immersively)but I can totally relate how you must have felt with that. Few of the remaining games keep their sequels amazing these days and of course rare are those which maintain that quality to be a cult in itself.

Did you play Bioshock 2? It didn't do it for me at all! Original was way more engaging!
