Hello everyone,

Would it be interesting to allow viewers (during streamed gapes @ Twitch) to engage in certain rounds. Adding interactivity whereas viewers can for examplespawn more enemies, according to a set of rules.

I'm trying to explore the viability of implementing such features (some games have tried some basic implementations, some others are built around the concept of an arena-like game where the show master controls the scene).

Thanks for your input

Those games are always the best to play with chat. Games like Town Of Salem, any Jackbox Party game, or Minecraft on a private server where you invite your stream show so much interactivity and achat usually loves it.

If you're devving a game and want to see then yes definitely try it. It would make your game, no matter how fun, much more enjoyable to the audience

Thanks for the replies. As a matter of fact we're trying to do both : Developing a game that supports Twitch ChatPlay & Build an API for Game developers that they integrate with their game dev cycle to enable viewers interactivity.

The whole point of twitch is to mindlessly watch someone play when you want interactivity, you could play the game yourself you know.

No, more people enjoy interacting with the game then watching a streamer play. Chat having a meaning will have more viewers than a streamer playing a game like PUBG alone. Also, not everyone on Twitch has money to be wasting on games hence they watch streamers.
