Gen 4 Pokemon was the best generation. Here's why:

I really don't like modern pokemon games that much. Nintendo has really lost their touch ever since moving to 3d.

Gen 4 was the best because it offered 6 different and AWESOME games. It had the nice DS sprite graphics that everyone loved and the plot was great and had a nice buildup to things. (This applies to all six gen 4 games

Pokmon Platinum/Pearl/Diamond
Pokmon Heartgold/Soulsilver
Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness
Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky

All these games were great! But where did Nintendo go wrong?

Right after gen 5 things started going downhill. Nintendo was making 3d Pokmon games too childish (understandable since lots of kids play DS but.) Writers dying or getting replaced. It has had an impact on the games nowadays. I've tried to like them and put aside they're too childish but I just can't. I bothers me too much.

Hmm, growing up I played Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Silver was my all time favorite, haven't tried any of the new series @_@

Pokemon Red for me, I didn't have a gameboy yet I knew how to pass the game lol

Gen 4 was the shit, I really liked all of the Pokemon games that came out during that period. DPPt was really great.

Don't feel that gen 4 was the best, however the others was alright. but GEN 4 was just the shittest imo
