To what degree does the current environemental crises affect your lives? And how often do you end up thinking about it? I ask because the area where I live is experiencing very atypical weather- which is adversely affecting a lot of people, animals, and farms

I live in an apartment in India, so if you've seen the news... let's just say the climate change rains are so much worse nowadays. It's so bad, in fact, that we are advised to never drink water that isn't bottled or boiled (yes, this includes distilled water) because the crap that's in the water can kill me or leave me in the hospital.

Climate change. Gotta love it.

I panicked at first but I had to learn it's something I can't control. So I try to work on what's in my control to help the environment since I can't just turn off gas/oil everywhere myself. In my area, it's getting hotter. It's already a desert but we keep hitting 120 days in the summer. Our wet seaons have been getting skipped over which makes us prepped for a devastating wildfire season. The entire state is in drought and we're going to have drinking water problems as well in the future. I'm looking in getting out. If I were to start a family, I don't see a future with them in the current place I'm living. 30 years ago, yes. But now? Absolutely not.

The weather where I live has become so severe that during summer we cannot stay longer outside.
It used to be around 30 and now it's 35... the weather is clearly bad these past years.

I think everyone would agree that the climate change really messed up the seasons, pretty much globally

Here this summer has been with 14+ days with temperatures above 40 C. We got summers with hardly a week with 35 C in my city.

I am not affected too much, but I imagine areas close to the water would be affected disproportionately
