Gmod Is Half Life

+ i think that garry's mod as half-life but he not original like HL there have many addon's permission and other

GMod = HL2, CSS + random content. It's been so heavily modified that it's its own thing now.

Garrysmod runs on top of HL2. Using HL2 Assets and the source engine. Before garrysmod, garry was using cheat codes in HL2 to mess around and well, he decided to code an actual tool to make it easier to mess with vs typing in commands. Garrysmod was created.

Well it is Hl2 mod, when you open the processes you can see it's called hl2.exe and in Gmod folder there is HL2 folder with all the game contents.

It actually started out as a mod for Half Life 2, and then it developed into a real game. That is why it is called Garry's "Mod."

You flipped scales up, Gmod was a half life2 mod...

It was originally a mod in the glory days but they bought source so now it's independent kinda.
