Anyone have suggestions on relatively cheap computers but are good for school work. I currently have a Chromebook but its functionalities are limited and it is heavily reliant on internet connection. Thanks!

What's your price range? Does it have to be new or is used fine?

I used to own this Laptop and I loved it, and I think you will too. Not too expensive and can last a very long time.
It has:
AMD Ryzen 5 2500U
Vega 8 graphics (good for games like Fortnite and GTA V)
256 GB M.2 SSD
8 GB DDR4 RAM
