Anyone know of a good, free bitcoin miner? Looking for something generally useful. Also, can somebody explain to me a little more how a bitcoin miner works?
MinerGate I heard is Eh but another is CoinMiner or if you prefer your own settings download EasyMiner but if BTC is your goal then GPU Coin Miner, Has Donald duck gif on front so enjoy!
I'm not an expert, but from the top of my head: Bitcoin mining basically uses computer hardware to solve algorithms that keep the blockchain going. When you do transactions using bitcoin, the miners are the ones doing the background computation that moves bitcoin from one wallet to another.
You should have a pretty powerful graphics card if you're serious about making any money through bitcoin. If you're just mining with a dual core processor, it's not worth it.
Guys I asked in another thread...but mining is still worth it in terms of earnings? I read a lot of opposite things about this...i want to understand to see if it's something that i can do
