Google is not verifying my sitemap

i have submitted my site map on google but its still under verification. its been 3 days and m started worrying lil bit now. is there any other method i can go for??/

How did you generate the sitemap ? Are you using a plugin ?

check your site map's xml file

Did you verify both the www and non-www domain?
And make sure that your site's XML sitemap is functional.
