Grand Theft Auto Grand Theft Auto V story mode

I'm going to get GTA 5, but I don't want to have to do all the missions. I just want to run around, steal cars, and stuff. is there a mode where i don't have to do missions?

After you do the introductory mission you are good to go, free roam, but there is not fun in the game if you are broke.

If you just want to have fun: Get yourself a mod menue and a 100% savefile

What this man said. He even gave you instruction. Good man.

You can just play the first mission (that's about 10 minutes long as I remember) - and you're good to go already.

Be sure to mod the game if you are playing on PC. They do improve the game much more
