Honestly, it's a joke. Out of all of the people and issue they could've covered they made a rich and privileged girl complaining about her personal first world issues.

you are so right. But you can't say that in any civilised public anymore. literally everyone disagrees and doesn't see that it might be dangerous to rely on the people behind greta

This is the problem about this. Greta really don't give solutions to the problem, she only complaining about us and blame older generation for her "bad childhood". She talks, not giving solutions, and its a shame how popular she became prior that.

philanthropist Peter Thiel: Invented a ocean cleaner, collect several millions in donations, this guy actually take actions about the ocean problem we face today!
Greta Thunberg: None solutions given, no action taken.

I think this is just some kind of joke. Of course, I did not check this information, but I believe that it is unreasonable for her to give such a title.

Whaaat? She's gonna be person of the year like wtf? Only bcs she moan about problems we all know are happening. She's not giving any solutions what so ever. There are so many people more educated that gave world some impact and not her child like wtf

Have to admit, I watched Greta doing this speech...


...and it just came across as fake.

I would say she's been used and well coached... in about 10 years she'll be telling those who have took advantage of her that they are the ones who stole her childhood.

Soneone needs to throw her in the bin.. stupid that someone like that would be person of the year
