Growing your own

Anybody here grow their own? I'm on my second grow, my first one last summer was a success, especially for a first grow.

I use Super Silver Haze as my daily smoke, and it is not the easiest to find, so I decided to try growing. Never have I grown anything, not even a Chia Pet. But hey, I figured it's a weed, it should be easy!! Of course, I pick a strain listed as moderate to grow, not the best for beginners. But, I have to say it came out ok. Got a little too close to the light so some got a little over, but all in all it was a nice harvest, three plants and I got 1/2 pound.

This time I'm growing two plants, and I have trained them down to give more of a canopy. They still have probably three months before harvest, and then drying and curing, so four months before I can smoke. I'm hoping to get close to the 1/2 pound again, as even though I have one less plant, they seem to have about the same density as the three I had last summer.

Guess I'm learning.
