Disclaimer: This is just my opinion which we're all entitled to ~

Honestly, I don't believe there is a solution to the problem in America. Even if the next president was super liberal and just wanted rid of the guns, there would be war so they could keep them.

There would have to be like $5000 per gun handed in voluntarily and a ban on new gun purchases or something and they would still riot.

At what point does civilization become civil and socially aware enough to realise that only specialist police officers should have guns. People argue that they need their guns so the government can never rule over them again and take their land etc but it's 2018 ffs. Nobody should have guns. It's like nukes, we realised this too bloody late and now a bunch of nations have nukes and have the gall to tell other nations to denuclearize.

Again, that's just my opinion and driven by yet another school shooting

What do you guys think of the whole situation? Try to keep it objective ~

I completely disagree and can tell your a liberal. Honestly what needs to happen is to remove any gun control law minus you must apply for licenses. The issue in america isn't the people who are anti liberal, its the people who are liberal and pushing laws cause your afraid. You can't run your whole life with your head in the sand. So truthfully the police forces in america are corrupt as hell.

I don't believe the solution is to take away all guns, but it's stupid to believe that guns are not the problem. They most definitely are a problem, and having stricter regulation is not going to hurt you as a citizen, especially because you shouldn't have massive monster guns just for the sake of having them.

Why take away guns from people? My friend America was built but guns so that is like huge thing there no?

I think there's definitely a problem and that it would be best to do something about it rather than nothing. Although taking all guns away is not the solution.

Well I always go by this statement that people kill people guns can't pick themselfs up and kill a person.

i feel safer with a gun than without one, guns always end back up on the streets illegally anyways.

The issue is people today are fragile, liberal, snowflakes. The statement that just blows my mind today, "guns kill people", is a joke. People kill people, and people with fucked up mental conditions and just being pure insane, are the ones who kill people. I conceal carry, and never once do I walked around and think about shooting up a school or a restaurant. Sure, we can enforce our gun laws much tighter, but you will not stop the amount of people who shouldn't have a gun, from getting one.
Over the years, some drugs have become illegal, and people will still get those drugs, regardless. You can ban things all you would like, but it will not stop people from doing as they please.

I think guns should be very hard to get. like first taking classes for 10 years before you're allowed to own a gun, that will take the fun out of it very quickly

I personally think that the USA would have too much difficulty repealing gun laws and should find ways to make them just harder to get without illegalizing them.
