Hello, today Im going to show you a simple way to protect your backend servers IP from getting exposed by censys.


Even when you use Cloudflare or any other CDN your backend can be exposed by censys. Judge me if Im wrong.

Really interested in this, thanks for posting OP.
I wasn't aware that you could do this when a site uses cloudflare nameservers

Yea, but make sure your site is hosted on something you have SSH access to. Otherwise its not gonna work.

Pretty sure Censys looks at ipv4 and hostname, I mean you could always just not call ur hostname mywebsite.com etc
