#1 I've tried many times and minecraft can be a good platform for RP, but you have to spend a lot of work

I've always liked roleplay, furthermore the various plugins and mods for Minecraft are enough to guarantee potential players a lot of entertainment and a non-linear, rich storyline.
I agree with Alexander VII, making a server like this would indeed take a lot of time and effort, but I'm sure it would pay off in the long run, as such servers are rather rare to find, and they are definitely a lot of fun.
