Have you owned or managed a server?

I used to be an administrator in a server, and then the owner of the server took the money away, and now I am no longer an administrator. :rage:

Ive hosted many servers in the past, the best one (Crafteen factions) had about 25 people at all times and could reach around 100 people when a big event was going on or a new map was introduced. Right now im working on a Prison,Factions and Magic Survival server for about 2 weeks and have been doing great so far I might post the ip when the server is up and running

Yes, I had a minecraft server version 1.5.2. but closed due to lack of donations. Tough 3 1/2 years open

Used to own a vanilla server way back in the day, somewhere around beta 1.5 i think. We had around 150 players so it wasnt too bad, but around that time the whole scene just shifted into liking heavily modded servers. Since i really dont like that i just stopped playing the game :S

Yes, I had a Gaming Hosting Company, with our own public servers but after 4 years we closed the company because each one in the staff don't have the required time to give to our players a really good experience :(

I owned a server called sloplex that later became known as mystichero and it's today names skykingdoms although i don't manage it anymore it's still one of biggest servers in the world.

If you want to make server make sure you get the cheapest one then upgrade when you have many players

I owned three Minecraft servers so far these couple of years. Takes hard work andtime to develop one in my opinion

I developed for a lot of servers that are dead now, like craftcadia and mineverse. I am now working on a unique server called Champions
