You know, I told someone to just get a window unit air conditioner, they're cheap here in the US, and that's how I learned that windows in the EU are like the ones you see in drive-thrus, or sometimes they'll open like outward facing doors. They don't slide up and down, making installing a window unit all but impossible. Checking Amazon UK, they didn't seem to have any in stock, either. Now is a good time to get into the Heat & Air trade.
