Helix derma intro help

Hello, I'm messing with the helix Derma thingy that plays at the intro of a base server on Helix.

Does somebody have any example for me to understand how it works, or have a website or resource to learn/understand it?

Helix is very old so i think changing over is better for the enviroment.. etc
