[Help] How to achieve these style gradients?

It's killing me how the right hand side rectangle gradient is so grained and perfect? anyone know how to achieve this?

I believe it is threshold adjustment + gradient map (background color on one end and orange on the other).

Threshold is a good way to achieve this effect, also fixing the grain and stamp effect can help
