you can do that with some plugins. just watch in spigot/bukkit

Try getting MythicMobs. It allows you to tweak the behavior and drops of vanilla mobs and create and do the same with custom mobs. It's a free plugin and if you need any kind of help, the developers have a forum (there's also a full detailed manual and if you really need assistance a ton of YouTubers have reviewed it.)
