yeh, why choose a knife and take a risk when you can make someone go boom.
RE: High school bans backpacks to make school safer
Why not just make everyone where purses instead. Simplifies everything, including gender equality and honestly... that's the only thing here that really matters.
In my first year of high school (about 10 years ago) our school came out with some dumb policy that said we could only use "string backpacks". Those are those dumb drawstring bags that you see people use in gyms all the time. So we had to carry all our stuff in those, which was a pain, especially to carry heavy math and english books. They said it was to cut down on "hallway traffic" because our school was over-crowded at the time.
Bunch of bull if you ask me. I heard people complain all the time how they hurt our backs more, plus those bags break easily (the cheap ones anyway) so I think I went through 2 or 3 by the end of the year.
Regardless, that policy was removed the following year.
So I would suspect that if this article is true, it probably won't last long.

well i mean england invented knife crime, also skrrhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunblane_massacre banning backpacks is ridiculous, clear backpacks could be implemented so people can't hide aks in their backpacks
my life is just a shitpost
RE: High school bans backpacks to make school safer
Anyone here that's still in high school, I'm curious: how has the recent wave of school shootings affected you? Is security getting tighter or is it just business as usual?
no wayyy
RE: High school bans backpacks to make school safer
No don't take our backpacks away! Taking our backpacks means taking our freedom! Backpacks are not the problem, people are the problem :rage2:
aaand just in case you didn't get that I was being sarcastic well I was being sarcastic. Now I live in Canada so I'm mostly neutral on the whole gun control subject. But it's not going to stop me from laughing at some of the bs arguments that some people try to make.
