My highest FPS I got in MC was 1540, I used Optifine and stuff like that xD
But Java is break this

without capping i get around 200 - 300 but i cap at 60 because its nice to have consistentfps.

I have never tested it but I have 60 FPS throughout. Probably the FPS counter is established.
