I guess there are better ways to do it but for my part I duplicate my text, I change its color, I pixelize it then I make a selection on the shape where I want my text to change, in your example the circle, then right click "swap" I check that my selected layer and the pixelized text and I press delete.. I use photoshop

I suggest watching a tutorial on how layer masks work. Once you understand the fundamentals of the layer mask, a LOT of doors will be opened for you Smile

Keep it up!

two seperate text layers, stacked on top of eachother, rasterize both, cut the top text out in the area u want white

Just type in the text you want, then duplicate it, make a mask and paint it the color you want.

you need to duplicate the text layer and make one in the black and make one in the white and then mask the text

You can always do it without duplicating the text, just new fill layer and mask the circle.
That way you'll be able to change the text too, if it need any change.
