For example, if I make a Garry's Mod video, I would post it in a Garry's Mod subreddit.

Good Graphics, a strong clear microphone, interesting or unique content and a semi-popular youtube friend can get you far.

I Think YouTube Monster is fantastic for gaining extra views! infact it's the only method i use on my tube accounts. Google it guys its pretty decent and free. I would post the link but I did that for something else and i got like a warning ban on but that may have been my own fault for using the ref link rather than the site link. Hope this helps

Advertise to your friends discords for example, and get it spread more, if you make a discord and put it in your descriptions, 1 video with views can obtain a lot of discord members which can be used to advertise future videos incase they forget.
