How did you first get into Anime?

when i was 5 in early 90s i read doraemon manga(hard copy one), and sailor moon too, i have a sister who loves to read manga, she lent her manga to me

My ex got me into it and I love it now so thanks I guess to her

i got into it, as a result of watching illegal vhs bootlegs being played over small tv sets, at comic book conventions.

On TV, when I was a kid... Watched Saint Seiya, Samurai X

We had this channel called ANimax on cable and it was an anime only channel which was great.

Picked it up from there - used to watch all day as a kid

My collegue from study gave me on cd 'My best teacher Onizuka" or how this anime were called? ;-) That all started.

I discovered anime when a friend showed me Pokmon at his house. We still watch some anime to this day.

My friend recommend me the NARUTO series and I love it then u start searching more anime to watch

My friend said, if he doesn't watch SAO then you will have problems.
