How do you find backdoor's in addons

by hands and eyes. if you even can't find a backdoor in code - i have a bad news for you.

Been a blast reading into all the newer things you can do with gmod. Haven't played in years

Through visual studio, and went looking for

There is always some messy code when it comes to games like these, so there is a way to do it.

If you know glua and know anything about programming then just look in the code and if something is not clear then try to understand it, at least thats how I do it

To avoid backdoor, don't use leak (obvious)

Try to look for suspicious Runstrings and net sockets

Look up "nomalua" if you have some basic PC knowledge, you should be able to use it.
also some free workshop anti backdoors get the job done

depends on the addon but usally a virus detecter can trigger
