How do you guys feel about big name MC servers moving to standalone games?

Hypixel has been working on a standalone game for quite some time now.. Do you guys think it'll be successful? Or do you think it's going to be a flop?
I think it might have a rough start but smooth itself out over time. I can see other big name servers (Mineplex and Cubecraft) moving to trying to make standalone games too.
What do you guys think?

I think it's worth a shot. Mojang have treated a very large part of their community badly for quite some time so if Hypixel can break free for that i think it would be great!
