How long before Robots take over?

We are in an interesting time in history, AI is incredibly advanced with new technology and websites powered by AI, such as ChatGPT, or adobe firefly.

However, our hardware is also rapidly advancing with companies like Boston Dynamics creating functioning human like robots.

Now... down to business, for Robots to take over we need a combination of hardware and software. So my question is how long before the AI software progresses to where it needs to be, and how long before the hardware progresses to where it needs to be?

Or, if we do have robots by (whatever time) will they be friendly, or will they just eliminate us and improve the earth?

Open to all thoughts on this subject.

never. it just doesnt make any sense why they ever could, or even why they would want to

Give or take 5-10 years, I think AI will take us down

might be soon enough cuz AI is improving fast

In 5 years at the most I'll kick this into the future, bro, we'll have flying cars, among other things that are now in the present, just like those Apple Viewers that you carry around with that on your face

they will never take over completely (hopefully) but they have already started to take over to some degree, they will rapidly replace human effort

probably in the next 100-200 years in the future, hopefully they dont cause wow that will be crazy
