I can only Sprint at full velocity for a few seconds because it's literally impossible to go longer. Even elite tier sprinters slow down

Overall though I've been able to Sprint for a good quarter mile. Not sure how long it takes imho because I don't really time myself

Jogging is the same thing, I can mainly jog for around a half mile before having to slow down. My endurance is mega ass.

Yeah okay

Keyword: maximum effort

Doesn't mean I'm very fast, but I'm actually pretty athleticWink

I would say 50 seconds, after this I'm like "don't speak to me I'm dead" I don't wanna speak to anyone anymore, I almost missed a bus one day.

If you put in maximum effort and focus on speed, pretty much everyone can only sprint for a few seconds. That's just how it works when you put that amount of effort into speed.
Anyone who says a few minutes likely isn't putting their effort onto purely speed, but also focusing a lot on endurance; so that isn't actually their maximum sprinting effort. If you do, you're changing to a more stablepace so you can keep your endurance to an optimum level.

But anyway, if I full on sprint it'd only be for a few seconds then I'm exhausted for the time being. But if I focus on endurance and speed, I can go for a solid 4/5 minutes until I'm all tired out.
Wouldn't really say I'm all that fast though anyway.

It all really depends on what I'm running for. Obviously people switch up the pace depending on how long they're needing to run, but if it's purely to see how fast you can possibly be it won't last long at all

I think of myself as a pretty athletic, BLACK, human being. My fastest 40m is 5.14 and my mile test was under 6 minutes, I can full on sprint for 20-30 seconds and I'll be dead tired. When you say you full on sprint that means your running as if your life depended on it, just put that into perspective when answering.

Exactly. Maximum effort is full power explosive like you're being chased by a damn rhino. Some people answered 4 minutes and more, which is very unlikely unless you're an athlete that trains daily.

Not even athletes can sprint that long 4min is bs, why do you think all the sprints are under 10secs

This. Other types of races are a mix between endurance and speed. They'll change their pace to a level which allows them to race at a fast speed and, well, actually manage to cross that line without becoming too exhausted along the way.
