How many genders are there ?

Asking how many genders there are is like asking how many Spider-Mans there are. It's either zero or infinity depending on how you look at it

However a person wants to identify themselves is up to them, but there are only 2 genders, male and female.

As many others have posted, there are multiple genders.

As many as there need to be As for sex? Another matter!

I only consider two vanilla genders, men and women, and I classify transgender people as trans men and women (so 4, sort of)

I consider that are only two genders according to the science but if you feel that you are X you can consider it but I think we can't go against science...

Good question. I say two. But others have come up with so many other terms to describe genders, its hard to keep up.

i personaly think there are only 2 genders cus uhm i havnt seen a thing that is not women or men so uhm it must be only 2 genders right

There are 2 genders. Male and female. There's no debate to be had there

to many to count just call people by there preferred pronouns.
