How old were you when you found out santa ... wasn't real?

I don't think I was ever told directly. I actually found out by reading something in a magazine when I was really young.

I was 10 and in 4th grade. I read some sort of reference book in 4th grade that explained the whole Santa Claus phenomenon. The best way I can describe it, I felt like an adult and that I knew things adults knew that kids did not.

I was 7 years old when i found out because my parents said something they shouldn't, but i was questioning it way before that.

My parents never told me about Santa and just bought me presents. I never really believed in him.
