Many thanks to you. I have followed the tutorial there and integrated the Font Awesome icons. But the theme i am using is using bootstrap and in that Glyph icons are integrated. I was thinking that is there any way i can you the glyph icons instead of calling for another off site resource? If you or anybody could help me it would be a great thing for me.

yes i know that

I changed the class of <i> what FA uses with <span> what Glyph uses but somehow i didn't got it working.

cant send its in development and on my localhost

u should have set on some templates , classes for the icons
somewthing like this:

or

and dont use the "fa fa-icon" class as that is for fontawsome
